In a landmark display of collaborative resolve, a delegation led by Chairman Adnan Al-Juhaishi of the Iraqi Parliament's anti-Drug and psychotropic substances committee embarked on a crucial visit to Jordan on Monday. The visit, aimed at deepening ties between the two nations, primarily focused on joint efforts to combat the escalating drug trade.

Adnan Al-Juhaishi, heading the Iraqi delegation, underscored Iraq's dedication to reinforcing bilateral cooperation in confronting the pressing issue of drug trafficking. He lauded the pivotal role of Iraq's Parliament in steering comprehensive measures to combat the drug trade within their borders.

Minister of Interior Mazin Farrayeh, leading Jordan's engagement, warmly welcomed the Iraqi delegation. Farrayeh reaffirmed Jordan's staunch dedication to collaborative action, a commitment solidified by the visionary leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II.

Minister Farrayeh shared insights into the multifaceted strategy Jordan has implemented to counter the drug trade.
