Masoud Barzani, the former president of the Kurdistan Region, has called on the Iraqi government to compensate the victims and eliminate the effects of the genocide of the Fayli Kurds as soon as possible. He noted that the Fayli Kurdish brothers and sisters have suffered a lot in the Iraqi state and their only crime is being Kurds. Barzani added that the sacrifices and loyalty of the Fayli Kurdish people to their national cause and the Kurdish liberation movement always deserve respect and appreciation.
