Continuing his meeting in Davos at the 2023 World Economic Forum, Prime Minister Masrour Barzani met on Wednesday with the Minister of Industry and Commerce of Bahrain, Mr. Abdulla Bin Adel Fakhro.

Discussions focused on the ways to strengthen ties between the Kurdistan Region and the Kingdom of Bahrain, especially in the field of improving productivity, industrialization, agriculture, and trade.

Minister Bin Adel Fakhro conveyed the greetings of Bahrain’s Crown Prince and Prime Minister, His Majesty Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, reiterating Bahrain’s willingness to strengthen ties with the Kurdistan Region.

Mr. Bin Adel Fakhro also announced his plan to visit the Kurdistan Region alongside a large trade delegation.

For his part, Prime Minister Barzani expressed Kurdistan’s readiness to boost ties with Bahrain in all areas.
