On the occasion of Christmas and the birth of Jesus Christ, peace be upon him, I offer my warmest congratulations to all our Christian sisters and brothers in the Kurdistan Region, Iraq and around the world. I wish them a joyful and happy Christmas celebration in peace and harmony.

On this holy occasion, we reassure once again that the Kurdistan Region will remain a cradle of peaceful coexistence, tolerance and solidarity among all religious and ethnic communities. Together with our Christian sisters and brothers and all other communities, we work to build a brighter future for our children and for a country where the rights and freedoms of all citizens of all faiths and nationalities are safeguarded.
