Peshmerga and Iraqi army meet in Makhmour to discuss joint operations
Kurdistan 24 correspondent said that a delegation from the Ministry of Peshmerga is scheduled to meet with the Iraqi army in Makhmour district, to discuss preparations for joint operations.
He added that the meeting will discuss the implementation of the previous agreement between the Peshmerga forces and the Iraqi army to confront ISIS.
The two delegations will also discuss the formation of the two joint brigades between the Peshmerga and the Iraqi army, which will be established on the Makhmour border, as well as preparations for joint operations in the disputed areas to destroy ISIS strongholds and headquarters, from which attacks against the Peshmerga were launched days ago.
