Town Hall's first meeting with Kurdistan Regional Government Prime Minister Masrour Barzani
The Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Masrour Barzani, directly answered the questions of a number of young people and students of Kurdistan universities during his participation in Town Hall, where he called on young people to be keen on their country for a prosperous future.
"Inspired by the passion of our youth in our first town hall meeting. I listened to their concerns - about the state of our economy and governance, and their hopes and dreams for a brighter, more certain future for all Kurdistanis," the Prime minister said on his Twitter account.
Regarding salaries and reform, the prime minister said, "I am not afraid of responsibility, and I will bear my responsibility because it is a test, and we have done our best to return the largest possible amount of revenue to the citizens," explaining that "most of the attacks against the government are primarily political."
In another part of the meeting, the Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government touched on the general legislative elections, and said, "the politicians who show their hatred and their worst side, are fully aware that they are bankrupt and have nothing. They are speaking against other parties and on the assumption that so-and-so made a mistake, so come vote for me, Well, when I give you my voice, how do I know you weren't worse than them, go ahead and tell us what you offer. That doesn't work with words, and that's why they stick themselves in it, because when it comes to action, they have nothing to offer."
