Kurdistan Regional President Nechirvan Barzani and Kurdistan Regional Government Prime Minister Masrour Barzani have condemned the bloody attack on the Kurdish family in Turkey.

"We condemn the attack against a Kurdish family in Turkey and our thoughts and prayers are with victims’ family and loved ones. Those responsible for this senseless crime must be brought to justice," President Nechirvan Barzani said.

"I’m deeply saddened by reports of a vicious attack on a Kurdish family in Konya, Turkey," PM Barzani wrote in a statement.

"I convey the deepest condolences of my govt to the family, and expect the perpetrators to be held fully accountable," the prime minister added.

On Friday, seven members of a Kurdish family were killed in central Turkey by armed assailants who tried to burn down their house in what rights activists described as a racist attack.
