The director of Erbil International Airport announced the increase in traffic and passengers at Erbil Airport now.

He also said that they have relations with all countries of the world, and if European countries issue tourist visas, there will be a significant increase in tourism.

"Coronavirus is still present, but the traffic has increased at Erbil airport, and the more countries open their doors, the more traffic and tourism will increase with us, because we have relations with the whole world, such as Europe, Arab countries and Turkey," Ahmed Hoshyar told the official website of the Kurdistan Democratic Party.

“We hope for more facilities, so that more tourist traffic can be opened. If Europe opens its doors to foreigners and grants tourist visas, the traffic will be much higher because the tourist visa is not open yet and we are waiting for it to start in the near future.”

Due to the spread of the Corona virus, traffic between most countries around the world stopped, but after the arrival of the vaccine and the reduction of the disease, traffic between countries returned to normal.
