The Iraqi Ministry of Interior on Saturday announced the arrest of 10 ISIS members in the northern Kirkuk governorate.

The Intelligence of the Ministry of Interior said, in a statement, that according to accurate intelligence information, the intelligence detachments in Iraq and the federal investigations in the Ministry of Interior were able to arrest 10 wanted ISIS terrorist gangs operating as sleeper cells in Kirkuk Governorate.

The statement added that "the arrested elements are divided between fighters and supportive elements within the so-called Kirkuk sector, and they provide logistical support to the organization."

The statement explained that the detainees "presented their confessions before the security and the judiciary, and legal measures were taken against them."
