Kurdistan Region Prime Minister Masrour Barzani received the Minister of Agriculture in the Federal Government, Muhammad Karim Al-Khafaji on Sunday.

In the meeting, they discussed ways to develop cooperation between the Ministry of Agriculture in the federal government and the Ministry of Agriculture and Water Resources in the Kurdistan Region, especially on the issue of marketing products and crops between the Kurdistan Region and central and southern Iraq and vice versa.

The issue of the federal government receiving the quantity of wheat from the farmers of the Kurdistan Region, which is determined annually, was also discussed.

The meeting also touched on the presentation of scientific certificates of accreditation for crops and agricultural products in the region.
