PUK Keeps Silent on Iranian Attack Against Kurdish Opposition Parties
ERBIL - Even though 15 Kurdish people were killed, and 39 more were wounded in Saturday's Iranian attack on two Kurdish opposition groups in the Kurdistan Region, the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) has remained silent on the incident.

The Kurdish party which is dominant in Sulaimaniya province and known as an alley to the Islamic Republic, has only pointed out in a statement, a copy of which was obtained by BasNews, that they were saddened to hear about the offensive, without any condemnations for the attack.

The PUK also said that it, via its representative in Iran, has many times the Iranian Kurdish opposition groups to not use the Kurdstan Region territories for attacking the neighboring countries.

The attack was conducted on the Kurdistan Democratic Party of Iran (PDKI) and Iranian Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP-Iran) headquarters, bases, and refugee camps where the Kurdish Peshmerga forces' families live in the past decades on Saturday morning in which at least 15 people were killed, while 39 more wounded, among whom were leading members from both parties.
