Iraq: Angry Protesters Set Office of Abadi’s Party Ablaze
ERBIL — Angry protesters in Iraq’s southern province of Misan have set the headquarter of Iraqi Islamic Dawa Party on fire.

Media reports also said the headquarter for Hikmah Movement, lead by Ammar al-Hakim, had also came under attack by the protesters.

On Friday, demonstrations expanded from Basra to other provinces in southern Iraq, including Najaf, Dhi Qar, Misan and even Baghdad.

Protesters call for jobs and better public services.

BasNews reported earlier that protesters had stormed Najaf airport, causing suspension of all flights on Friday.
