Salahadin, Kurdistan Region of Iraq, (Krp.org)- President Masoud Barzani received a Swiss diplomatic delegation today at his office, the delegation was headed by Mr. Hans-Peter Lenz, the ambassador of Switzerland to Iraq. During the meeting President Barzani wished the ambassador a successful tenure in Iraq and hoped for enhanced bilateral relations between the Kurdistan Region of Iraq and Switzerland.

President Barzani and ambassador Lenz spoke of the current crisis especially concerning the enormous number of refugees and IDPs who have found in the Kurdistan Region a safe haven. The two sides also spoke of the economic crisis which is facing both Erbil and Baghdad.
