ERBIL, Kurdistan Region – When UK Defense Secretary Michael Fallon meets in Paris with French, German and American coalition partners, he will call for a “tightening of the noose” around ISIS territories in Syria.

At Wednesday’s meeting which will be the first of its kind and include defense chiefs from the attending countries, the BBC said Fallon is to announce that the coalition "have made strong progress in recent weeks."

He will then make the case that, "Now the campaign is moving into a new phase where we aim to systematically dismantle Daesh's (ISIS's) structure and capabilities."

"That means striking harder at the head of the snake, with an increased focus on infrastructure, lines of communication and supply routes," he will say, according to the BBC.

It said he will call for them to aim is to "dismantle" ISIS's "structure and capabilities."

Intensification of air strikes against the group will be discussed as well as increased targeting of the groups infrastructure.
