Kabul (dpa) - At least seven died Wednesday when a suicide bomber targeted the Moby Group, a major media production company in Kabul, Afghanistan, officials said.

"Seven people were killed and 25 others were wounded in the suicide attack, which targeted a minibus carrying employees of Kaboora production and Tolo TV tonight," said General Abdul Rahman Rahimi, Kabul's police chief.

The company includes ToloNews and Kaboora production in its holdings.

Airing live, ToloNews confirmed the incident, saying company employees had been the target of the bombing.

Afghan Chief Executive Abdullah Abdullah condemned the attack and said he had drawn up plans for more security.

"I have also advised security forces to provide security for media outlets and journalists."

Although no group has claimed responsibility for the attack, Taliban militants in October announced that Tolo and 1TV are military targets and enemies of the group for "spreading poisonous lies instead of news and are overall harmful."
