ERBIL, Kurdistan Region — A high Swedish delegation consisting of the Swedish defense and foreign ministers arrived in the Kurdistan region capital Erbil Monday night for talks on the fight against ISIS and Swedish support for Peshmerga forces.

Swedish Foreign Minister Margot Wallstrom and Defense Minister Peter Hultqvist arrived at the Erbil International Airport and are expected to meet Kurdistan region President Masoud Barzani and Prime Minister Nechirvan Barzani later in the day.

The Swedish delegation was received by Falah Mustaffa, the head of the Kurdistan Regional Government’s foreign relations department, and Karim Shingali, the Kurdistan region’s interior minister.
