In a statement, Kurdistan Regional Government Spokesperson, Safeen Dizayee, announced that Tuesday, 14 July 2015, will be an official holiday in all government institutions.

Regarding the Eid Al-Fitr, which is expected to be on Friday, 17 July, he stated that this year’s official holiday will last until 21st of this month, and the government institutions will resume office hours work on 22nd of July.

He expressed his warmest greetings and wishes to the Kurdistan Peshmerga forces and the families of martyrs and all the Muslims in Kurdistan and elsewhere on the occasion of Eid Al-Fitr, hoping that this holiday brings stability and peace and marks victory against the terrorists.
