Salahadin, Kurdistan Region of Iraq, (Krp.org)- In a statement to President Barack Obama and Vice President Joe Biden, President Barzani expressed his good wishes on behalf of the people of the Kurdistan Region to the people of the United States on the occasion of their Independence Day.

President Barzani also noted that the Kurdistan Region is indeed indebted to the people and government of the United States for their support in our war against the terrorists of the Islamic State. Furthermore, the President hoped that the times to come will witness even more solidified and more enhanced bilateral relations between the two sides.
