Kurdistan Region President Masoud Barzani met with King Abdullah of Jordan in Amman today. The King and the President discussed the political and security developments in Iraq, in particular the latest situation in the Anbar province, and efforts to counter the ISIS terrorists.

They also discussed bilateral relations between the Kingdom and the Kurdistan Region and ways to further expand these ties.

President Barzani arrived in Amman, Jordan, on Thursday at the invitation of King Abdullah, and is scheduled to participate the World Economic Forum on the Middle East and North Africa being held in the Dead Sea.
