Erbil, Kurdistan Region, Iraq, (gov.krd) - Kurdistan Region Prime Minister, Nechirvan Barzani, today attended the mourning ceremony of the late King Abdullah bin Abdelaziz al-Saud at Yamama Royal Palace in Riyadh, along with world leaders, to pay their respect following the death of King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz al-Saud on Friday.

On behalf of the President of the Kurdistan Region, Masoud Barzani, the Kurdistan Regional Government and the people of Kurdistan Region, Prime Minister Barzani presented condolences to the new King of Saudi Arabia, Salman bin Abdul Aziz, the Crown Prince and members of the royal family.

Prime Minister Barzani, accompanied by a KRG delegation arrived in Riyadh earlier today, and was received at the airport by the Governor of Riyadh, Prince Turki bin Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz.
