The Kurdistan Region’s Council of Ministers strongly condemns the terrorist bombings that took place in the city of Kirkuk on Thursday.

The KRG expresses its deepest sympathies and condolences to the families of the martyrs in Kirkuk, as well as Kurdistan in general, and wishes a prompt recovery to all those wounded and injured.

The terrorists, enemies of life, liberty and humanity, are receiving painful blows at the hands of our brave Peshmerga heroes. These heinous attacks occurred at a time when they are losing at the battlefield day after day; hence the resort to coward terrorist attacks aimed at killing innocent civilians and targeting of public places.

We would like to reassure all those concerned that terrorism will not intimidate us. Kurdistan’s brave Peshmerga will confront and eliminate the terrorists until the very end and victory will be their ally.
