Kurdistan Region President Masoud Barzani welcomed Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu in Erbil today. Following a meeting between the two sides, the President and the Turkish Prime Minister discussed political and economic relations between the two sides, including bilateral cooperation in confronting the terrorist group ISIS.

President Barzani hailed the visit by the Turkish Prime Minister as a good opportunity to discuss and to remove any problems that may have existed between the two countries in the past.
