Erbil, Kurdistan Region, Iraq (krg.org) - The Kurdistan Regional Government strongly condemns the armed attack which took place last Wednesday on the Canadian Parliament, killing an innocent Canadian soldier whilst confronting the terrorist in front of the parliament building. The government and people of the Kurdistan Region express their deep sorrow and sympathy to the Canadian Government and people and to the family of the fallen soldier whose sacrifice will not be forgotten.

At a time when the international coalition confront terrorism and push them back on a daily basis, the terrorists try to deflect from their losses by carrying out attacks in the civilized world against the member states of the alliance. These attacks will not deter the resolve of the international community in pursuing its war against terrorism.
