The developments in Kobane may also be the same move and indication related with the recent decisions of Kurdish political parties in Western Kurdistan which met last week in Duhok.

Now, all the factions have signed an agreement over political work and a joint administration. "A half loss is a benefit," the Kurdish proverb says.

The agreement, which was supervised by Massoud Barzani, has many political significance. Most important of which could be the fact that it was under the auspicious and supervision of Kurds themselves, by their own determination, and without any external interference or influence, especially from the regional countries.

A crucial test is ahead of the political parties in Western Kurdistan (Rojava).

They won?t be achieving any crucial political goals by unilateral governance and the widening of the gaps between them. Returning to common work and unity will result in keeping the door of international aid and support open.

The meetings practically showed their significant message for the US and its allies to intensify their air strikes against ISIS in Kobane.

At the same moment, Turkey?s standpoint has changed, which is also connected with the consequences and days of the meetings between the Kurdish parties of the Kurdish National Council and The Tevger.

We should bear in mind that Kobane appeared as a strategic area and the war there as decisive. But it doesn?t seem to be the last war in which the Kurds will defeat the IS.

The agreement of the Kurdish political parties doesn?t mean that the internal Kurdish disputes are over, but this is the beginning of a new policy so that everyone, especially PYD who owns a big fighting force doesn?t think as the sole decisive player.

Other political parties also should come out of their politburos and directly participate in policy making and even participating in the war.

So, Western Kurdistan is witnessing a new openness in order to decide cohesively to take part in defending and governing their administrations that they for the moment control.

At this stage, the unity and consensus and understanding between the political parties are important, adding to common work in defending and resistance against ISIS, and collecting forces and finding resources.

It of vital importance that the Kurds establish a coordination between the political parties including the PYD, the KRP and the KRG to find a common ground.

The Kurds now have the pressure card in their hands and the Kurdistan Region is playing a historic role.

Hawler has become a political and legitimate entity in the Middle East which also has become a decision-making center for political and military cooperation with Washington, London and Paris.

This is in contrast with the previous periods when some regional powers had negative and destructive effects on Kurdistan.

This time it is the Kurdish force that advances and plans for its own future.

Most importantly, the color and propaganda of the parties have not been noticed in those actions and plans.

The Kurds work unanimously, which is yet another positive step to coordinate the actions against the IS with the USA and its allies that has been established to eradicate the ISIS. Obviously, the best way for all parties at the moment is to go back to Hawler's coordinating center.

The capital has become the center for decision making of all political, ethnic and religious factions to protect and safeguard Kurdistan. This has of course been obtained by a shared Kurdish will and determination.

Kurdistan practically has proved to be the only force that wage this imposed war on the ground on behalf of the world.

The strategy of improving the military cooperation with the international coalition is planned in the capital city of Hawler.

It does not only guarantee the military victory against the ISIS, but also grants a political success and a brighter future for the Kurds. This has been achieved by the iron determination and the steel will of the Kurds people to unite.
