Prime Minister Barzani attends President Erdogan's inauguration ceremony
The previous President of Turkey, Abdullah Gul, transferred presidential authority to former Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan in the Cankaya Presidential Palace in Ankara.
A number of presidents, prime ministers, ministers, diplomats, and diplomatic missions throughout the region and the world attended the event.
President Erdogan was sworn in and delivered a speech at the inauguration. Another ceremony was held later to receive guests and attendees. Prime Minister Barzani met with several presidents and prime ministers at this event.
Prime Minister Barzani and other guests attending the inauguration were later invited to a dinner reception.
