Erbil, Kurdistan (KRG.org) – The Ministry of Education is set to host a conference with the purpose of discussing and planning ways to further reform, renew, and serve the Kurdistan Region’s learning and education system.

The decision was made last week during a Ministry of Education meeting, chaired by Minister Pishtiwan Sadiq and attended by the ministry’s advisors and directors-general. In the meeting, the Minister presented his vision for improvement and reform in education and learning, discussing details with ministry officials.

Minister Sadiq emphasised that the principles of the education system are to serve students and respect the rights of the teachers and civil servants working hard to contribute to the education sector in the Region.

The meeting also shed light upon the potential obstacles and issues that may arise regarding education reform in the Region and how to overcome such obstacles.
