Presidency of Kurdistan Regional Government announced on Sunday , that the head of the regional government , Nechirvan Barzani will leave Erbil at the head of a high level delegation to London at the official invitation of the British government.

“A senior delegation will be accompanied by Barzani that includes both the Minister of Natural Resources , Ashti Hawrami, Minister of Planning , Ali Sindi , official Department of Coordination and Follow-up in the Council of Ministers , Qobad Talabani , the government spokesman , Safeen Dazia , official of Foreign Relations Department of the government and a number of advisors ,” The press secretary to Barzani , Sami Arkoshi said in a statement to the official website of the government.

He added that the delegation of the regional government will meet next Monday and Tuesday with a number of ministers and senior British officials to discuss a number of issues related to economic and energy cooperation and the development of relations in all aspects .

The visit comes at a time when sharp differences have taken place between Erbil and Baghdad on the background of the lack of agreement on a common formula to pass the draft general budget of Iraq for the current year on the eve of the meeting of Kurdistan Parliament to assign Barzani as head on the new line to the regional government.
