Last Tuesday, a suicide bombing in downtown Qamishli in Cizre Canton claimed the life of 10 civilians. At the time, no specific organization claimed responsibility for the cruel act, but ISIS has confirmed its involvement in the bombing later in a Facebook post on its page.



SIS revealed further information and stated in the post that the perpetrators were Jazrawi and Abu-Mohammed Nasari. News agencies has formerly unveiled that the doers carried Tunisian, Saudi, and Egyptian identities.

Regarding the act, Cizre Canton`s defense minister stated, “the purpose behind these acts is to show a false image of the security conditions in these Kurdish areas to the people.”
