Four Journalists of Kurdish nationality who are working for Turkish Anadolu News Agency have been detained yesterday by Iraqi Army in Kirkuk Province of Iraq.


A source from Iraqi Army reported in condition of anonymity that four originally Kurdish journalists who are working for Turkish Anadolu News Agency have been arrested by Iraqi army yesterday evening in Kirkuk.


“Apparently the journalists didn’t have legal permission, yet they took pictures of Iraqi Army and have been then arrested by them” the source added.


There is no detail about the personal information of the detainees or their current situation.
