In a phone call with President Masoud Barzani today, King Abdullah of Jordan expressed his country’s solidarity with the President and people of the Kurdistan Region over the Erbil terrorist attacks.


The King expressed his condolences to the victims of the terror attacks and offered his country’s support to the people and government of Kurdistan.

In return, President Barzani thanked King Abdullah for his expression of solidarity.

On Sunday, 29 September 2013, KRG security offices in the capital Erbil became the target of several terrorist attacks which left 6 members of the security services dead and dozens wounded.
