The U.S. Embassy in Iraq is outraged at the attack targeting Kurdistan Regional Government buildings in Erbil on September 29, which resulted in deaths and injuries.

"The U.S. Embassy extends its sympathy and most sincere condolences to the victims of this craven attack and their families" the statment reads.

"The United States will continue to support the Kurdistan Regional Government, the Government of Iraq, and the people of Iraq in combating our common enemy of terrorism" the statment added.

Series of bloody attacks hit the Asayish headquarters in Erbil yesterday, resulted in the killing of 6 security members and wounding 62 others.
