President of Kurdistan Casts His Early Vote
Voting booths opened at 7a.m. local time on Saturday in the Kurdistan Regional of Iraq for voters to decide which party or independent individual will represent their interest in new Parliament. Prime Minister, Nechirvan Barzani and his wife were among the first persons who casted their votes.
Today, September 21th is scheduled for Parliamentary election in Kurdistan Region of Iraq. 31 political parties will compete for the 111 chairs in Parliament, while 2.8 million people are eligible to vote in the elections.
