Digital Vote Recorder Slows Voting Process
The digital machine using for recording votes of Kurdistan general election reportedly slowed the process as the staff and voters are new to the machine, local media reported.

In the Sulaimaniyah province, IHEC decided to increase the number of staffs in each election stations in order to deal with the problem of slowness they faced due to the digital vote recorder.

Reports claim that in the cities of Chemchemal and Choman, the same problem with the machine slowed the process of voting.

Voting booths opened at 7a.m. local time on Saturday in the Kurdistan Regional of Iraq for voters to decide which party or independent individual will represent their interest in new Parliament.

Today, September 21th is scheduled for Parliamentary election in Kurdistan Region of Iraq.
