In an event yesterday September 8, 2013, attended by Nechirvan Barzani, PM of the Kurdistan Region along with the Deputy PM, Emad Ahmed, and many other Kurdistan Region governmental officials, a number of top high school students in the Kurdistan Region were awarded.

Nechirvan Barzani gave a speech and said that the government will send these students to other countries abroad so that they will have the chance to study in developed universities for better enhancing their educational skills.

Barzani in the event also announced a number of projects related to building buildings for schools and progressing the system of education in the region.
