Terrorists target Iraqi Kurdish soldiers in Salahhadin
Last week, a twin blast killed six members of the Kurdish intelligence forces known as the Asayish and wounded three others in the town of Tuz Khormato, north of the capital Baghdad.
The targets are potentially on the Kurdish soldiers in a bid to force them quit serving military as many left military due to the Baghdad's pressure in the past years, the police source said.
"There must be a hand behind the terrorists' brutal intentions to target the Kurds, as the recent attacks targeted them the most," he said.
"The attacks coincides with returning a great number of the Ba'athists into the military rows."
The rate of the Kurdish soldiers and officers who constitute the Brigade protecting the area reaches 30%.
