Kurdistan Ministry of Trade and Industry jointly with United Nations Assistance Mission for Iraq (UNAMI) opened Project Development Center in Ministry's headquarters today.
The center counts as the first of its kind in the Kurdistan Region, said Minister Sinan Chalabi.

He added the center will allow for the Ministry to contact the European and especially Italian universities in order to benefit from their trade and industry expertise.

Chalabi said the Ministry has trained staff to work in the new center which in itself will be an educational and training center for the investors and will encourage them to put their assets in projects in Kurdistan.
