Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri Maliki's attitude tells us that he is against democracy and partnership and he encourages violence in the country, said Kurdistan presidency's spokesperson
Umed Sabah said the PM works for armament of Iraq’s community and equipping them with more weapons to achieve his political aim.

"There is no day Maliki does not represent himself differently to put into practice his plans which is about how to equip himself with more weapon, making new military camps and convincing others to choose violence options to gain his political aims."

During the 60th graduation ceremony of police officers in Baghdad, Maliki said: "Iraqi security forces face all who create political crisis. Iraq can eliminate all efforts made for creating the crisis and impose security in its all borders."

Sabah added: "We recently declared our position about the threats that face the current political crisis and Maliki's autocratic conduct. The country faces real threats and these threats only are imposed by someone who has a political and dictatorship aim to marginalize others.

"Maliki’s conducts and announcements are clear indications and only explain that this man intends to encourage violence. This is against the political partnership and democracy. This contradicts the Iraqi constitution.

"Thus we ask all parties and political partners to look carefully at what is happening in the country now and work together towards democracy and rebuilding the country."
