The Peshmerga Ministry in Kurdistan Regional Government called on the federal government to pull its military units out of Kirkuk, Diyala and Ninawa provinces.
The Peshmerga Ministry’s Secretary General Jabbar Yawir in a statement to Sawa Radio said that the federal government brought two artillery battalions to areas in Kirkuk and Diyala provinces in addition to a military regiment to Sinjari area in Ninawa province.

The Peshmerga ministry called on the federal government to withdraw the aforementioned troops, Yawir clarified .
