Nawshirwan Mustafa, general coordinator of Gorran (Change) Movement, left for Iran today morning to meet with the senior Iranian officials.
A statement issued by the media center of the major opposition party of the Kurdistan Region said Mustafa will arrive in Sanandaj and from there he will leave for Tehran.

Early next week the official is due to meet with senior officials in order to hear Tehran's view about the situation in Iraq and the region, according to the statement.

Mustafa will also clarify Gorran's position in this regard.

The visit follows an official invitation from Tehran which Iranian ambassador, Hassan Danayfar, submitted to Gorran last month.
