Bombardment of Qandil continues
Due to constant bombardment Friday by Turkish warplanes in Qandil, dozens of civilians have fled their crop fields and farms.

Earlier this month, Turkish warplanes bombarded Qandil and caused severe damage to houses and farms.

Farmers have been left no choice but to flee because of the constant shelling in Qandil by the Turkish Air force. The warplanes have bombarded the Qandil area two times within the last 10 days, a local source from Qandil informed PUKmedia.

Qandil has been a center for meat produce, wheat and other crops in the past. This year, however, the influx of produce has received a devastating blow as farmers flee their farms due to regular bombardment by Turkey’s warplanes.

Due to Turkey’s bombardment in the past three years, 2059 families have fled the district of Pshdar’s border, 27 civilians have been killed, 19 others wounded and hundreds of acres of farm land and crops have been destroyed and are now obsolete.
