Tikrit and Baghdad attacks left behind 72 causalities
A bombing in the Husseiniya market in northeastern Baghdad claimed the lives of eight people and wounded 50 more people.
Three policemen were also killed in Bayaa neighborhood, southwest Baghdad, when gunmen attacked their checkpoint.
In Tikrit, a car bomb exploded near the Imam Askari Shrine, leaving behind one Iranian pilgrim dead and eleven more pilgrims wounded.
Seven of the wounded pilgrims are also Iranian.
