Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari met on 10/6/2012, Mr. Elia Morgnov the Russian Ambassador in Baghdad.
During the meeting, they discussed the relations between the two countries and praised the advanced level they have reached. They also touched on the upcoming visit of the Minister to Moscow in response to the invitation extended to him by his Russian counterpart, his meetings with officials and the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the two foreign ministries.

The meeting was attended by the Undersecretary for Administrative Affairs , Director of the Office of the Minister and the acting Head of Europe dept.
