Exxon Mobil CEO Rex Tillerson stated that his company will continue its operations in the Kurdistan Region.
The statement came during a meeting with Kurdistan President Massoud Barzani in Washington DC this week.

The oil outfit signed a contract with the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) last year to explore six fields in the region.

Tillerson said Exxon is committed to the contracts that it has signed with both the Iraqi government and with the KRG.
