Swedish Health Minister Göran Hägglund and a business delegation comprising experts and owners of healthcare companies arrived at Erbil International Airport on Tuesday, December 13, 2011.

the Swedish Minister and the delegation accompanying him were received by Dr. Tahir Hawrami, Minister of Health in the Kurdistan Regional Government .

In a meeting attended by the Ambassador of Sweden in Iraq, Hawrami pointed to the progress the health sector witnesses in Kurdistan Region.

Hägglund, for his part, said that his government supports the Kurdistan Regional Government and the health sector in particular.
