The Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG), Masrour Barzani, met with the Minister of Sustainable Development and CEO of the Economic Development Board of Bahrain, Noor bint Ali Al Khalifa, during an official visit to the Bahraini capital, Manama, on Monday.

Discussions during the meeting focused on enhancing bilateral relations, with a particular emphasis on economic diversification, developing new income sources, and expanding investment opportunities in various sectors. Both sides stressed the importance of cooperation to foster growth and attract investment.

Earlier in the day, Prime Minister Barzani arrived in Bahrain for a series of high-level talks. During his visit, he is expected to meet with King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and other senior Bahraini officials. The discussions aim to strengthen diplomatic ties and address the latest regional developments.

This visit is seen as part of ongoing efforts by the KRG to expand its international partnerships and promote economic growth in the region.
