Prime Minister Masrour Barzani Inaugurates HITEX24, Highlights Kurdistan's Digital Transformation
On Tuesday, the Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region, Masrour Barzani, inaugurated the fifth Erbil International Technology Exhibition and Conference (HITEX24), emphasizing the Kurdistan Regional Government's (KRG) ongoing efforts to digitalize government services and strengthen the region's banking system.
In his opening remarks, Prime Minister Barzani expressed optimism that HITEX2024 would play a pivotal role in the Kurdistan Region's technological development, connecting it more closely to the global technology market. He underscored the KRG's achievements in digitizing government operations and public services, aimed at improving efficiency, reducing bureaucracy, and curbing the misuse of public resources.
