Kurdish Barzani Charity Foundation Extends Humanitarian Aid to IDPs in Erbil

In a recent show of unwavering commitment to the welfare of internally displaced persons (IDPs) in Erbil province, the Kurdish Barzani Charity Foundation (BCF) has undertaken a series of generous initiatives aimed at alleviating the difficulties and improving the living conditions of those affected by displacement, conflicts, and natural disasters.

In a press release issued on Monday, the BCF disclosed their comprehensive efforts, which encompass the distribution of food items, clothing, and financial assistance to IDP families within the region.

At the Hasansham camp, situated in Erbil province, BCF's aid crews distributed crucial supplies, including flour, clothing, and financial aid, to a total of 415 IDP families. The aid reached 120 families with clothing and 40 families with much-needed financial support.

Moreover, in collaboration with the esteemed organization Save The Children, the charity extended its reach to 1,773 IDP students in the Domiz 1 refugee camp, located on the outskirts of the city of Duhok. Stationery items, such as backpacks and notebooks, were distributed to enhance educational opportunities for these young learners across eight schools within the camp.

The BCF has maintained a steadfast commitment to the welfare of IDPs, evidenced by their recent initiatives. Beyond the essential supplies and educational support, the organization has offered English language courses, tailoring classes, and computer instruction to those displaced across the Kurdistan Region.

Operating from their base within the Kurdistan Region, the BCF has established itself as a prominent charity organization with extensive local and regional outreach. Their overarching mission includes the provision of financial assistance to underprivileged families and the delivery of humanitarian support and relief to individuals adversely affected by conflicts and natural disasters.

In their tireless pursuit of these objectives, the charity group continues to provide IDPs with indispensable supplies, such as tents, blankets, medical provisions, educational resources, food parcels, financial aid, and other essential necessities.

The Kurdish Barzani Charity Foundation remains a beacon of hope and support for those grappling with the hardships of displacement in the Kurdistan Region, embodying the spirit of unity and compassion in the face of adversity.
