In the presence of Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Masrour Barzani, a ceremony was held, on Wednesday, to honor the top students.

At the ceremony, after a minute's silence for the holy souls of the martyrs, the Minister of Education of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Alan Hammah Saeed, delivered a speech praising the support of the PM Barzani in improving the education process.

One of the first students, representing the Kurdish students, later delivered a speech, thanking the KRG for the support of the Kurdish students.

In his speech, the Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government congratulated the first students of 12th grade and thanked the families of the students and teachers and wished them success in the university stage in the same way.

"Honored to award Kurdistan’s top 12th grade students. They are the ones who lead our future, and I hope they use their education to build a better Kurdistan for us all," the premier wrote on his Twitter account.

"My message to them and our youth: love and respect life, your nation, and the environment." PM Barzani added.
