ERBIL - Kurdish prominent leader and former president of the Kurdistan Region, Masoud Barzani, has hailed the coexistence in the region, urging all components to further deepen the peaceful belief.

Barzani made the remarks in a congratulatory message to the Yezidis on their annual feast, in which the influential leader wished the minority group happiness.

He also praised the peaceful and religious freedom existing in the Kurdistan Region.

"We are all proud that Kurdistan Region is the state of brotherhood and coexistence. All components should work together to deepen and expand this coexistence," Barzani stated.
