ERBIL - The Kurdish Barzani Charity Foundation (BCF) delivered on Sunday humanitarian aid to IDPs and civilians in the Iraqi province of Ninevah.

Earlier on Friday, the mayor of Mosul called on the Kurdish prominent leader and former president of the Kurdistan Region, Masoud Barzani, to deliver humanitarian assistance to the IDPs and villagers in the area who have been affected by the recent flash floods.

The BCF, in response, managed to send aid to the IDPs in the camps of Salamiya and Namrud and civilians in the rural areas.

Flash floods have recently caused great destruction in the central and northern parts of Iraq.
